It’s amazing how some designs go untouched for decades. They go through rapid changes in their infancy and then they reach a point where the innovation stagnates. Then many many years later designers like Alexander Hulme revisit these ideas and products and ask that never-ending question of “how can I make this better?” Ultimately it turns out that a small simple change turns a simple, seemingly perfect design into something beautiful.
