The Best Type Related Book of The Decade?

With Adrian Frutiger’s 80th birthday approaching on May 24th and the fact that Univers is my second favorite san serif typeface, I felt it was appropriate to highlight what people are saying is “the most important type related book of the decade”. This book called Adrian Frutiger Typefaces. The Complete Works is based upon a close collaboration with Adrian himself. The book is a detailed essay on the design of logos and typefaces and the book shows all stages of the design process, from the drafting process to the marketing stage. The book itself highlights 50 typefaces in 460 illustrated pages.
